German-Azerbaijan book of Heinrich Heine poems published

IEPF, Baku, 03 Nov 2008 – German-Azerbaijan book of outstanding German poet Heinrich Heine was published by the Eurasia Press Publishing House. The first book of poet whose books were translated to number of languages was published in Azerbaijani in 1947. Heinrich Heine’s collection of poems under issue of Azerbaijan State Publishing House was published in 1958.

The new book includes lyric poems written in a different period of his life. Poems have been translated by Yusif Savalan, who works at Azerbaijan University of Languages and Baku Asia University. He is the author of some translated poem books. Davamı »

IEPF to prepare a book about murdered journalists

IPEF, Baku, 15/09/2008 – International Eurasia Press Fund will prepare the book about murdered journalists in Azerbaijan. This was informed by chairman of IEPF and vice-president of the Press Council of Azerbaijan Umud Rahimoglu. Although this idea exists for a long time, realization of this plan decided to be now.

Mine Issue Contest Winners To Be Awarded

IEPF, Baku, 31 Jul 2008 – As we informed with the aim to convey the information about the mine tragedies to the community, the problems faced by mine victims and the general life situation of the mine victims, International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) and the Azerbaijan Mine Victims Association (AMVA) announced the competition on journalist investigation and reporting.
