I have lost a friend
One by one we are losing our friends; now it’s Rovshen! He was incomparable and an irreplaceable friend. Although few days have passed since we lost him but still I can’t speak about him in the past. I merely can’t accept the sentences – he used to do this, or that. However we can do nothing. This is reality. Each man is vulnerable, and we depend on our destiny. This is doubtless. Nonetheless, it is very hard to lose a person in his 48, in the time of prosperity. We can surely say that, this is not only a loss of one person, collective or family, but to the whole nation. It is not a secret that despite his social stand and political views everybody had a big respect toward him. Davamı »
I visited the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan for the first time courtesy of an invitation from a dear friend – Elmira. I made the trip with my wife Lala and our 5 months old son Joel. It was to be my first time to this part of Azerbaijan and same for my wife. The journey of about 1 hour from Baku to Nakhchivan was a smooth fly; from an aerial view, it reveals how on a very fast rate the Azerbaijan capital Baku is developing with a great number of high rising buildings and good road networking.
It was the fist time I traveled to one of the beautiful corners of Karabakh – Fuzuli. This beautiful place 15 years ago was occupied and destroyed but later liberated by Azerbaijan Army. Spring has just come and gone; the place was beautiful, everywhere covered with green looking very attractive to behold. Breathing the fresh air we walked the beautiful land, but alas! Fist time in my life I saw the poppy field.
