Nakhchivan: A People’s Heritage, A People’s Pride And A Home Of Beauty

I visited the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan for the first time courtesy of an invitation from a dear friend – Elmira. I made the trip with my wife Lala and our 5 months old son Joel. It was to be my first time to this part of Azerbaijan and same for my wife. The journey of about 1 hour from Baku to Nakhchivan was a smooth fly; from an aerial view, it reveals how on a very fast rate the Azerbaijan capital Baku is developing with a great number of high rising buildings and good road networking. IEPF Organizes Meeting Devoted To Mine Victims And Presents Awards

Correspondent of “Yeni Azerbaycan” newspaper gave half of her son’s first salary as a present to a juvenile boy-mine survivor

Mine Issue Contest Winners To Be Awarded

IEPF, Baku, 31 Jul 2008 – As we informed with the aim to convey the information about the mine tragedies to the community, the problems faced by mine victims and the general life situation of the mine victims, International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) and the Azerbaijan Mine Victims Association (AMVA) announced the competition on journalist investigation and reporting.
