The Representative of the World Bank met with Umud Rahimoglu

Azra Kacapor Nurkic, the World Bank Senior Advisor, Youth Program Quality and Monitoring and Evaluation who has visited our country met with Umud Rahimoglu, Chairperson of IEPF. U. Rahimoglu informed the guest about activity directions of IEPF, its links of cooperation with international organizations, projects implemented in the humanitarian and developmental areas.He stated importance of the project “Strengthening and stimulating mutual social relations between local and IDP pupils in joint schools” implemented among local and IDP pupils through the financial support of the World Bank. A. Nurkic had expressed her gratitude on her close acquaintance with IEPF.
There was broad exchange of views on questions in which the guest was interested in.
On the same day Azra Kacapor Nurkic visited the school # 5 in Baku, concerning monitoring of the project “Strengthening and stimulating mutual social relations between local and IDP pupils in joint schools” implemented by IEPF according to the contract with Social Fund for Development of IDPs of Azerbaijan Republic and by financial fund of the World Bank and Social Fund for Development of IDPs of Japan. Nurkic and Namig Ibrahimov, a representative of Social Fund for the Development of IDPs of Azerbaijan Republic were interested in the state of retaining and joint usage of sport equipments, that were bought by pupils of Zengilan school #6 situated in the school # 5 through small grant allocation within the project,. The official of the World Bank met with the staff of the project, members of school community group established at the joint school, directors of secondary school # 5 of Baku and school # 6 of Zengilan and expressed her gratitude for these meetings.
